Qigong
The ancient Chinese practice of aligning breath, movement, and awareness for exercise and healing.
Qigong, pronounced as ‘chee-gung,’ presents an avenue for skilfully directing the flow of energy, known as ‘qi,’ throughout the body, all without overly taxing the body. Through purposeful movement and focused intention, we attune ourselves to the rhythms of life and the changing seasons. On a physical level, Qigong serves as a transformative practice, enhancing flexibility, balance, joint mobility, and strength. Simultaneously, it fosters the cultivation of inner peace and harmony.
Personal Training
Supporting you to exercise effectively and feel confident that your body can cope with day-to-day tasks.
Personal training is so much more than exercises in the gym. You are supported and challenged in your sessions. My style as a personal trainer largely focuses on mobility and strength. More and more information and studies are available, citing that resistance style training is hugely beneficial to support muscle mass and bone health which deteriorates with age. Exercising also improves overall mental health and self-confidence.
